Five Years :)
Kit and I have been married for 5 years and 3 months now! πππ»It's been really great! We have gotten to do so much together! These past two years have definitely been the most crazy and exciting! We got to go to some cool places and do some cool things! Haha. Now that's a little vague.
My latest news: We got a keurig coffee machine rip off on taobao, the Chinese amazon. It tastes so good! I know it's not good because it's so plasticy, but we sure have been enjoying mornings so much more. #chinamakesyoudrinkcoffee

One Week in China!
We have already been in China for a week! I would describe China as a series of highs and lows, and not just the mountains, but everything. I really love the city we got to come to! It's so beautiful with the mountains and the lake. The food on the other hand has been pretty tricky! We are slowly adjusting and finding what we can eat. So many people play basketball and badminton which is awesome because we love both of those things! We start school next month. So we have more time to get adjusted. Nobody speaks English here! It's such good Chinese practice.
It is such a classy place. I haven't seen any babies pooping on the street and people walk their pets with leashes. The Bai people wear such pretty ethnic clothes.
Till next time, XOXO, Alice ε°δΈ

Because what blog post wouldn't be complete without some pictures!?
Three and Half Years Later
I can't believe me and Kit have already been married for 3 and a half years. Time just flew by. Marriage really helps refine your personality. Always trying to get along with someone and stay close to them is not always easy, but well worth the effort. I do love being married after all. :-)
Next week we are finally reaching our goal of going to China together! I found in one of my old notebooks a list of goals and the time I planned to complete them by and about 4 years ago I had made the goal to go to China with Kit by August 2016. I am so happy and surprised to make the deadline! Not that its super important to do it by a deadline or anything, but very cool it all worked out. Now just to see how long we last there...
We are both super excited to see what it will be like and to experience the culture and to learn the language (finally).
We had an awesome District convention last weekend. :-)

Wedding Pictures!
Kit goes to school 4 days a week now... It is a little sad. I am still trying to find a job that I like... I went in service this morning and did some continuing education for this other job I might take. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the wedding.

Sunday afternoon
Hello!
So Kit and I had a lovely Sunday! Today the service group met at our house. We had yummy bagels and tea. I love the Lipton green tea fruity ones with the pyramid shaped bags. Sophie and Caleb have been looking for an apartment, so we did territory/ look for an apartment. Kit worked the table at the Chinese market for a few hours, while I went with Tom and Tina and did return visits. Now me and kit are just sitting at home relaxing... I am working on my resume for a new job. A lot of my new Chinese friends are so busy with school. It is sad I don't get to se them very much...
Kit is an amazing husband, so kind, and sweet, and patient. Married life is going very nice. Oh and we like our washer and dryer.hehehe
Kit had his first midterms last week, and passed with flying colors!!!
Here are some pictures of our apartment! It is becoming a lot more homey! We have big plans for our porch! So this is the before picture... Maybe we will have an after picture soon!

Almost Three Months Later
So here I am sitting at Barnie's "working" on this fine Saturday night. Some things will never change- that being working at Barnie's at night is the most relaxing job ever. I love coffee. I switched to decaf after a bad experience of caffeine withdraws. I learned my lesson from 2 weeks ago....ok moving on...
Kit and I have been married for just shy of two and a half months. It has been a very exciting adventure so far. We love cooking! Both of us are very passionate about food. Kit is a big meat eater, I have come to learn. Whereas I am very much into blending spinach, kale, apples, bananas, and some frozen mango chunks into the blender to whip up an blood alkalizing pre chewed tasty meal. Yep, Mom has strongly influenced my eating habits. Kit made the most amazing tuna steaks, and then wasabi chicken burgers! and not to mention all of his stir fries! I married a chef. :)
I love being married. It is so wonderful to come home to my husband every night! I can't imagine life without him anymore. We are so much busier than we were when we were just dating. We both got behind in our service time during the months around the wedding, so we are in catch up zone for the rest of the year. Kit started his busy PTA program. ONE MORE YEAR TO GO!!! You can do it Kit!!!
well well, time to go wash up the coffee pots and get ready to go home. Goodnight!
